Favorite Baby and Mama Items

Good afternoon! Today I am sharing all of the things that I have LOVED for this season since having James. He is 6 months old now so I will be sharing all of the postpartum goodies that I loved for my recovery season, all of the baby things that James has been obsessed with since arriving, and some items that have made the transition into mom life that much more seamless.

This is in NO way to pressure any purchasing, but I have linked the least expensive option for each item, if I’m linking a big-box retailer.

I am going to spew these off in lists with some explanations here or there, but, as always, if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment, send me a message on Instagram, or send an email.

Postpartum Favorites:

Baby Favorites (up to 6 months):

Mom Favorites:

  • Solly Baby Wrap - I will forever cherish this carrier. It is incredibly soft, and really makes early stages of baby-wearing a dream. James and I both LOVED using this carrier in the early months.

  • Ergobaby Omni Breeze Carrier - Once James got a bit bigger this is the carrier that I started to use. The back and shoulder support is amazing! We can tackle just about anything this carrier. If you have a drooler or little one who likes to chew on things then I recommend also getting a drool cover.

  • Graco DLX 4ever Carseat - This is such an easy carseat to use and is perfect for all stages of life. We did not get an infant carrier seat because I knew that the versatility that this seat would have to offer was more than enough.

  • Boppy - I had 2 of these and they were amazing. During the early weeks I kept one in our bedroom and one in the living room. Once James was up less at night, I moved one to his nursery and kept one in the living room. Although I don’t use it for feedings anymore, we do use it for floor time.

  • Nosefrida

  • Infant Towels

  • Baby Washcloths

  • Gerber Baby Gowns (Girl Gowns)

  • Posh Peanut Romper (Girl Rompers)

  • Up&Up Diapers - These were the diapers that we used before we started cloth diapering. These were great because they work really well and they aren’t crazy expensive.

  • Up&Up Sensitive Skin Wipes

  • Nora’s Nursery Pocket Diapers - These are the cloth diapers that we use and I really enjoy them. If you live in a place with hard water, like I do, please let me know if you get these and I can recommend some things for making sure that they don’t get build up from the minerals.

  • Swaddles

  • Pack’n’Play - Although this is not the Pack’n’Play that we have. If I had to buy another Pack’n’Play this is the one that I would get. We use it as our in room bassinet so having the riser for the mattress is amazing, but our little guy outgrew the accessories that ours came with pretty quickly.

  • Bathtub - This bathtub is AMAZING! It’s so nice being able to bathe him on the counter, in the shower, or in a bathtub. Makes life much more versatile when it comes to bath time.

  • Grooming Set

  • Ear Thermometer
